Pilgrims On The Way

our old theologians used to make a lot out of the distinction between God's knowledge and ours...they distinguished...between a knowledge of God in himslef (a theology of glory), which was unavailable to us, and a revelation of God accommodated to our weakness (a theology of the cross). they called "our theology" theologia viatorum, "the theology of pilgrims." while pilgrims haven't already arrived, they know where they're headed and are even now on their way by God's grace. -Michael Horton

Surprise Entry From my Man... And then a "regular post" too!

Hey, you never know where you're gonna find a li'l love-note tucked in, eh? And you lucky readers got to read it! (Thanks Honey!)

Yes, we had a good couple of days jumping into Tony and Rebekah's busy life. It was a busy break for us, but restful because it wasn't our busy lives... you know what I mean? Change is as good as a rest sometimes.

The boys had fun together. Zach's not quite at the "sleep-over" stage; he can't lay down with all the toys around, so he listened to Aunty Bekah's story-time, and then went to sleep on Mommy and Daddy's mattress in the spare room.

The high-light of Zach's weekend, I must say however, (sorry cousins) was going to see Thomas the Train at the Vernon Mall! Jer and I had kinda anticipated the real Thomas train to be on the tracks behind the mall, but it wasn't. There was a stage inside the Mall, with a pretend Thomas (only the front part of a train) that was revealed from behind the black curtain. Not at all a disappointment for Zach, however, but somewhat of a relief! He had been quite nervous about actually meeting a large, life-size noisy Thomas train!
