Pilgrims On The Way

our old theologians used to make a lot out of the distinction between God's knowledge and ours...they distinguished...between a knowledge of God in himslef (a theology of glory), which was unavailable to us, and a revelation of God accommodated to our weakness (a theology of the cross). they called "our theology" theologia viatorum, "the theology of pilgrims." while pilgrims haven't already arrived, they know where they're headed and are even now on their way by God's grace. -Michael Horton

Yes.

God's sense of humor... and another blessing to us.

Okay, so we had something to do with it... but only God gives life.

We're a tad overwhelmed by the thought of FOUR at ages four years and under. (let's hope this one ain't twins!!) Zach and Ben are 21 mos apart, Ben and 'Saiah are 16 mos apart, and 'Saiah and the last one will also be 16 mos apart.

Please, no one ask if I'm hoping for a girl. Of course, that would be nice. But no amount of hoping is going to change the gender of this one now, and I would only want whatever the Lord sees we need! Four boys would be a riot; a little girl in the mix would be darling.

I console myself at the thought of these coming years, with the fact that we'll be young empty-nest-ers!!! I am learning already that laughter is far more affective than anger, and feels much better in the soul, body and mind. I can rely on God's ever-faithful goodness to us. He's got an incredible track-record, and he's not "in over his head" with this one!!

I delight in my children daily. I delight in my Lord and His love for me.
Thank you Father for your blessings!!
