our old theologians used to make a lot out of the distinction between God's knowledge and ours...they distinguished...between a knowledge of God in himslef (a theology of glory), which was unavailable to us, and a revelation of God accommodated to our weakness (a theology of the cross). they called "our theology" theologia viatorum, "the theology of pilgrims." while pilgrims haven't already arrived, they know where they're headed and are even now on their way by God's grace. -Michael Horton

Happy 30th Cowboy!

Jer turned thirty this month, and I threw him a surprise barn-party/hoe-down!! I hired a square dancing caller, and invited a bunch of friends to celebrate with us at our church gym, which I decorated as a barn... sort of.

It was a real HOOT!! Here are some photos of the evening.

A friend and I did the cake, but it being a surprise and all, I let her do the decorating at her home.

Okay, so I didn't take too many pictures... I was too busy dancin' and having a great time!! My mother-in-law took more, so I'll try to get some from her!
