Pilgrims On The Way

our old theologians used to make a lot out of the distinction between God's knowledge and ours...they distinguished...between a knowledge of God in himslef (a theology of glory), which was unavailable to us, and a revelation of God accommodated to our weakness (a theology of the cross). they called "our theology" theologia viatorum, "the theology of pilgrims." while pilgrims haven't already arrived, they know where they're headed and are even now on their way by God's grace. -Michael Horton

I hung pictures on the wall...

Our little town house is starting to feel more like home now that I've hung our pictures up. Something about hanging 'same-olds' on the wall makes you feel settled... somehow.
For those of you who asked, our e-mail is currently a mere: jtzharnett@yahoo.ca
And what's an RSS Engler's? How do I turn it on? I'm not very good at this computer stuff; I can type, that's about it!
I just finished making three batches of peach jam- living in the Okanagen will push you to these limits. Both boys fell asleep.... It's a cloudy day (finally) and so it was a good one to work over the hot stove. I even baked banana bread this morning- cool enough to have the oven on and not melt into a puddle on my kitchen floor!
So, for today that's my update. I'm glad for those of you who replied to the last posting- it's good to have friends all over the place. We'll be even more frequent corrosponders after our internet gets connected. With Telus strike still on, we've had to wait for a while to get ours hooked up. It's good to be patient.
