Pilgrims On The Way

our old theologians used to make a lot out of the distinction between God's knowledge and ours...they distinguished...between a knowledge of God in himslef (a theology of glory), which was unavailable to us, and a revelation of God accommodated to our weakness (a theology of the cross). they called "our theology" theologia viatorum, "the theology of pilgrims." while pilgrims haven't already arrived, they know where they're headed and are even now on their way by God's grace. -Michael Horton

Greyhounds and Carpenters

Rode the Greyhound up to Enderby this last weekend to see my folks. The boys loved the ride, although Zach zonked out for the most of it!

Mom and Dad have been building their "dream" home up on a hill overlooking the valley. It's going to be a beautiful, yet simple-enough- for-a-Janzen kind of home. Dad has been doing all/most of the work on his own with a bit of help here and there from a son, son-in-law, friend or proffesional.
Jer has been doing a bunch of tile-work for them in the new house they are building. Alot of work; alot to look forward to enjoying!
