Pilgrims On The Way

our old theologians used to make a lot out of the distinction between God's knowledge and ours...they distinguished...between a knowledge of God in himslef (a theology of glory), which was unavailable to us, and a revelation of God accommodated to our weakness (a theology of the cross). they called "our theology" theologia viatorum, "the theology of pilgrims." while pilgrims haven't already arrived, they know where they're headed and are even now on their way by God's grace. -Michael Horton

SATISFIED!!

"Satisfy us in the morning with Your unfailing love,
that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days."
Ps. 90:14
Jesus has brought me such contentment and joy in my days.
My children are constantly delighting me with their antics and clever ways.
My husband lifts me up with his loving words and sharpens me- iron on iron- simultaneously.
Peanut #3 is kicking and growing eagerly within my womb.
My new-found friends are encouraging me and we're learning things together as young moms, eager-to-please wives and daughters of a REAL and Faithful God.
Songs, like "The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning, new every morning- great is thy faithfulness O Lord, great is thy faithfulness!" spring into my mind on a regular basis.
His WORD is hidden in my heart, and new seeds of memory are being planted.
`Tis simultaneously a stretching time, and a joyous time.
The joy of the Lord surely is my strength!
