Pilgrims On The Way

our old theologians used to make a lot out of the distinction between God's knowledge and ours...they distinguished...between a knowledge of God in himslef (a theology of glory), which was unavailable to us, and a revelation of God accommodated to our weakness (a theology of the cross). they called "our theology" theologia viatorum, "the theology of pilgrims." while pilgrims haven't already arrived, they know where they're headed and are even now on their way by God's grace. -Michael Horton

Road Trip...

We made another trip out to Abbotsford to show off our little girl and, of course, to see just a few of those whom we love!
(Because we saw many family and friends, I have posted just a small representation of photos!)

Driving the Coquhalla was a little messy, but we were kept safe all the way.

"Go Bananas" was a highlight for the boys. Auntie Kerry and I took them for some hours of fun in the giant indoor playground in Langley! Even Ker and I got into the maze of tunnels and adventure!

We stayed with the Dirks', who are always so hospitable to a roudy family as ours!

We had a visit with Grandpa Tutyko.
We visited with some of my Mom's side of the family, as well as some of my dad's side. And of course, a few of our dearest friends.

Of course each time we go to Abbotsford, we would love to, but are unable to see everyone we love....

This is my chosen representative of my Mom's side of the family: my youngest cousin, Sophia Isaak with her doll and our Abi.

This is my representative of all the wonderful friends I caught up with: Doretha Plett, my long-time mentor and dear kindred heart!

This is my representative of the Janzen side of the family that we gathered with: my cousin Connie and her daughter Emily with Abi.
