Pilgrims On The Way

our old theologians used to make a lot out of the distinction between God's knowledge and ours...they distinguished...between a knowledge of God in himslef (a theology of glory), which was unavailable to us, and a revelation of God accommodated to our weakness (a theology of the cross). they called "our theology" theologia viatorum, "the theology of pilgrims." while pilgrims haven't already arrived, they know where they're headed and are even now on their way by God's grace. -Michael Horton

Win # three!

I've been playing for a team in the Kelowna Women's Soccer League. Well, actually, I've been on the team for several weeks now, but I haven't been able to play for the first two games due to injuries.
So, tonite was game # 3, and it was also our third WIN! Tonite was my first game of the season. I play mid-field; generally centre or right mid. Coach actually played me in left mid tonite for a bit. It was from that position that I scored the first goal of the game.
The other team came back with a nice goal, and we pulled ahead once again with a penalty kick. The final score: 2-1 for us!
I "gave" that goal to my Dad for his birthday today!! Happy 56th Dad!!
In my humble opinion- and I'm putting myself on a thin line here- our game was much more exciting than the Canucks game tonite, eh? ;)
It feels SO VERY GREAT to be playing ball again!! Coach works us ladies hard, and I love it!!
