Pilgrims On The Way

our old theologians used to make a lot out of the distinction between God's knowledge and ours...they distinguished...between a knowledge of God in himslef (a theology of glory), which was unavailable to us, and a revelation of God accommodated to our weakness (a theology of the cross). they called "our theology" theologia viatorum, "the theology of pilgrims." while pilgrims haven't already arrived, they know where they're headed and are even now on their way by God's grace. -Michael Horton

Meet the family!

FINALLY, Uncle Tony and Auntie Bekah had a chance to meet little Abi! It was really great for the rest of us to see the Janzen family again too. Now that they live on the island, the visits are too few and far between.
Zach has begged to see his cousins on a regular basis. He was absolutely delighted to hang out with Rowan, Quinten and Malachi for a couple of days, and to deliver an early birthday gift to Rowan and Quinten too!

The GIANT Isaak gathering (my Mom's side) was a great time too! My aunts and uncles and cousins and cousins-once-removed all had a chance to meet Abi and see our boys growing up so much. This picture is of me with my three lovely cousins that I grew up with (Liesa, Monica and Jennifer- holding Abi), as well as my beautiful sister-in-love, Rebekah!

And there we all are! (the Janzens/Harnetts in their usual laughing pose!) We have such a hoot when we all get together! I sure love my family!
