Pilgrims On The Way

our old theologians used to make a lot out of the distinction between God's knowledge and ours...they distinguished...between a knowledge of God in himslef (a theology of glory), which was unavailable to us, and a revelation of God accommodated to our weakness (a theology of the cross). they called "our theology" theologia viatorum, "the theology of pilgrims." while pilgrims haven't already arrived, they know where they're headed and are even now on their way by God's grace. -Michael Horton

BIG Weekend!!

On June 2nd Jeremy's "baby" sister, Jerine Harnett, was married to John Holman.
The wedding was beautiful, the day was HOT and the atmosphere was very layed-back. It was a wonderful day.
Our gift to the couple was the purchasing of their wedding cake, as seen in the photo. I have a good friend who does wedding cakes and so I gave her some business, and "cut" a great deal for the new couple!

The rest of the weekend, and in to Monday as well, we had much family and friend fellowship, with the folks who had traveled into town for the occasion.

On another note- and I don't know why suddenly this is blue and underlined- I had my ultra-sound today, to find the due date of the baby. Well, according to the measurements, I'm only 10 weeks along, which puts my due date at December 30th. Personally, I don't think that lines up for me... but for now, December 30th it is.

I'm feeling okay... (now back to this???) I'm pretty nauseous and tired, and my belly is already popped out!! It's going to be a very hot summer...

Well, for what it's worth in the end, no complaining from me!! ;)
